Unspoken Words

The Future is a tricky place to be in when in the present.

its invisibility is daunting as it whispers from a distance leaving us in a loop of assumptions

and yet we try to exhibit control.

It speaks in change, subtle cues, often unheard, or dismissed.

But now,

its voice breaks through, Loud, clear, and hard to resist.

I hear its call, its plea so true, trying to guide us in all we do,

it no longer matters what I want, but what can I do. Tell me what you need and shape me as you wish.

It desires,

a world where actions and words are spoken with the same intention.

a world where we aren't defined by a single tribe we belong to and can belong to multiple tribes.

a world where we can be imperfect, opinionated, challenged, passionate, and display all facets of our personalities unapologetically.

a world where defying norms isn't an act of rebellion but a way of life.

a world where the greys are celebrated and ambiguity is embraced;

a world where we don't feel compelled to label everything or fit it into neat tidy boxes.

a world where conventional wisdom and the status quo are constantly challenged, and where rules symbolize freedom rather than authority.

It desires a world where the whole exceeds the sum of its parts.

I wish for the future to shape us into a capable world, with thoughts that resonate as words of consideration and manifest as acts of equality

Because we should be products of the future, not its architects.
