Easel Board Pro .
As an illustrator, purchasing an iPad presented both possibilities and limitations in terms of expanding my creative capabilities. After facing issues with the device's screen size and lack of a suitable companion, I undertook a journey to find a solution. The result is an innovative and practical solution that serves as a perfect companion for individuals looking to enhance their iPad experience. It not only elevates the device's capabilities but also simplifies the user experience and seamlessly integrates it into their daily lives. This solution addresses not only my personal needs but also those of others who rely on iPads in every aspect of their lives.
A considerable amount of my time sketching on my iPad was spent ensuring a comfortable palm position.
When I started looking for an accessory in the market that would enable me to have a better experience with my iPad I observed that majority of accessories revolved around the recreational aspects of using the device. This very frustration led me think of a better solution.
A Humble Begining
The first-ever
Easel Board Pro
It was an amazing and long journey to make the board into what it looks like today
Max Screen Space
Get cozier with your screen
Level Adjustment
Different modes for different moods
Three level adjustment idea came from one of the user tests I conducted. I was asked "what if I (user) wanted to use the Easel board while working in the car. " This leads me to think of a solution that enables the user to use the board in versatile environments
Design Language
The same vibe as the tribe
Matches your device's rounded corners to seamlessly merge with it, ensuring it does not look like an external entity. The duo should feel like a single unit, like an extended screen, and be part of the overall experience.
Secured with Mag-fit to make your iPad feel safe and snug.
Charging Chanel
Don't stop working when low on juice
Based on the user's long working hours I saw an opportunity to introduce ways to get uninterrupted access to the iPad while attached to the board.

Left-handed
Right-handed
No Problem!
One of the key insights I got from user testing for left and right handed people was the way they sketch using their hands. One of the key insights upon observation was that left-handed peoples 'Wrist Curvature Angle' was very different from a Right-handed person's. This observation also helped me determine which areas of the Easel Board should provide palm support.
All you have to do is Invert the orientation of the Easel Board and the back stand.
iPad Cradle
Slide. Glide. Ride through your work
The most crucial feature of the Easel Board is the ability to completely and seamlessly use your canvas when using your Easel Board. It creates a smooth surface for your hands to glide across.
